CF Games legend Stacie Tovar Declines invitation to Regionals

Yesterday, 33-year-old four-time CrossFit Game veteran, Stacie Tovar declined her invitation to what would have been her 6th CrossFit Games Regional yesterday. After announcing last year at the end of the Games that it would be her last time as an individual competitor. Yesterday she posted:

Oh man. It’s official. As much as it pains me I just declined my invitation to Regionals. 😞😫😥 Still want to give a shout out to all my sponsors for continuing to support me as I do what I love to do on a daily basis. Thank you @reebok@progenex@rxsmartgear@gatorzeyewear@airrosti@athexapp@iceagemeals@crossfitomaha❣🙏🏽 Best of luck to all the athletes competing at Regionals! I am definitely going to miss being out on that competition floor with all of you but I’ll see you there! Train hard! 🙌🏽👏🏽💪🏽@crossfitgames
